Passing of Ron Palmer

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ron Palmer.

Ron was a Life Member of the club, dedicated committee member of the JLFMC and custodian of Landy Field. During the last year, although unwell, Ron was still an active member of Geelong Guild - often chairing meetings and offering his extensive experience to the committee. His dedication to the club and athletics will be sorely missed. Our deepest condolences are extended to Joan and his family at this difficult time. RIP Ron.

Friends of Ron are invited to attend his funeral service at the East Geelong Uniting Church, 195 Ormond Rd, East Geelong (enter off Boundary Rd), on TUESDAY (July 12) at 10.30 a. m. Following the Service the Funeral will proceed to the Geelong Eastern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Geelong Palliative Care.
